Declare Your Shift

What would happen if 1 million people committed to making a personal shift by January 1, 2007? 

Do you wish you could rebuild New Orleans, end the war, improve education, end child abuse, house the homeless, provide healthcare to those in need?  Is it crazy to think we can actually impact such huge issues?  The truth is we can.  It starts within.  

Making a shift does not require money, the right politician, or anything outside of us.  Making a shift is simply choosing to do something differently.  What would you choose to be different in your own life?  If 1 million people committed to making their own personal shift we would feel something; more peace, abundance, connectedness, love. 

 

Our thoughts are our reality.  If you write down a goal it is more likely to happen.  All we are asking is for 1 million people to write down their own shift.  Declare your personal shift to the world, and publicly commit to making the shift.  Declare your shift by replying to this post. Better yet, copy this and forward it to 5 friends, and ask them to come to http://www.shiftthegame.com/blog/declare-your-shift.html and post their reply so we can make even more shifts.

State what you are willing to shift, your name, location, and date.  Add yours next to mine: 

 

1.  I will start each day acknowledging ME by writing down what I am grateful for about myself.  I will write down my accomplishments, qualities and more…so I remember that I am good enough.  Nicole, Boulder, Colorado, 9/1/06. 

 

2.    I am going to shift my thoughts and actons into helping those less fortunate than me..  I am going to do some volunteer work- I would really love to get involved with habitast for humanity- I can’t lift but I can use a staple gun or hammer or paint.  That is my way of mentally shifting from my materialistic existence to ehelp others who have less.  Arlene, Weston, Florida 9/2/06

4.  I shall in my mind begin the process to be grateful for all the little things that come my way and the love I receive.  Amber, Key Largo, 9/29/06 

5. I will be more present.  I will cherish the moments to think of nothing, to rest my mind, to gain clarity of my surroundings and feel the purpose of an empty moment instead of trying to plan or define everything all the time.  Michelle, Delaware, 9/28/06.
